About the Author
Steve Wilson, who teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Texas State University, has had the remarkable good fortune to spend a decade of summers in Ireland with his wife Nancy and his two sons, Samuel and Connor – experiences that inform the poems in The Lost Seventh. His work appears regularly in journals nationwide, as well as in a number of anthologies including What Have You Lost (Harper Tempest, 2001), American Diaspora: Poetry of Displacement (University of Iowa Press, 2001), and An Introduction to the Prose Poem (Firewheel Editions, 2009). Wilson’s previous books are Allegory Dance (Black Tie Press, 1991), The Singapore Express (Black Tie Press, 1994), and The Anatomy of Water: A Sampling of Contemporary American Prose Poems (ed. / Linwood Publishers, 1992).
